Beauty Health and Fitness -
Secrets to stay looking and feeling young!
Beauty health and fitness go hand in hand and each is incomplete without the other. A beautiful woman also has a healthy glow about her, while good health and fitness translates into radiant looks. Diet plays an integral part in maintaining both beauty and fitness.
A proper diet for beauty health and fitness should consist of all groups of foods so that all the 40 nutrients required for good health, enter your system. Thus your daily meals should consist generous amounts of what I call
-- mainly whole grains, legumes, lean meats/fish/dairy, fruits, vegetables, and some healthy treats -- so that you are not deprived of your quota of nutrients.
Healthy eating is known to prolong life span and keep at bay many diseases. Eating healthily also translates into eating in moderation and eating right to maintain a stable weight. This means that you do not starve yourself, but rather take small meals at frequent intervals.
Maintaining weight doesn’t mean banishing fats and carbohydrates altogether. These are your greatest sources of energy and it doesn’t make sense to sport a lean, thin body without having the energy to climb a few flights of stairs.
I have learned so about natural health and beauty from my favorite health secrets guru, Dr. Mercola. I look forward to his newsletter and there is so much amazing information on his site. Now, diet is just one side of the equation, you will also have to build up your health with a regular exercise regime. Another guru I love reading is Shane Ellison, AKA The People's Chemist.
to read more about Shane and his background and amazing products. He knows a lot about healthy living and the scams of the big pharma companies because he used to work for one. He and his wife have amazingly healthy and muscular bodies from using his secrets for diet and exercise.
Exercise can be anything from walking, swimming, jogging or aerobics. Or it can be something as simple as dusting the house or walking to the department store instead of taking the cab. You can also learn more about keeping fit and the most appropriate exercising regimes from
These simple-to-follow routines will work wonders for your beauty and fitness.
Or, are you looking to tone just a particular part of your body? If you are a woman, I'm guessing it might be your butt! Every woman wants a toned and SEXY BUTT for swimsuit season or just to fill her jeans out perfectly so
to see if this program is right for you!
Looking like a diva doesn’t entail much hard work. A healthy internal system will impart radiance to your face. You only need to touch-up on that with a regular cleansing, toning and moisturizing routine. This will involve only 10-15 minutes of your time daily.
The correlation between beauty health and fitness extends to your hair too. Strong manes require a robust internal system, devoid of nutritional deficiencies, digestive tract problems, hormonal imbalances and poor circulation. Stress also wrecks considerable havoc on the hair.
Limp, unhealthy hair can be given a new leash of life with fresh, enzyme-rich vegetables like carrots, beet and spinach. Lots of water and vitamin supplements too are explicitly recommended.
What you put on your hair is very important too. Harmful chemicals like propylene glycol, DEA (diethanolamine) and TEA (triethanolamine) have been proven to be scalp irritants and non supportive to the natural oils of your hair. Thus hair products containing these items should be steered clear off.
Natural products like rosemary, lavender, lemon, chamomile, thyme and stinging nettle are beneficial for a lot of hair problems like split ends, dandruff and scalp dryness.
But the above are only the external aspects of being beautiful and staying fit. Beauty health and fitness are also closely related to a sense of mental well-being. In these days of stress and competition, people yearn after that sense of being at peace with oneself with an passion similar to the search for the elixir of youth.
It is thus no wonder that Mediation, Aromatherapy, Tai-Chi, Yoga and Reiki are the rages today. The graceful, controlled and almost languid body movements of Tai-chi are soothing for the mind and known to be beneficial for osteoporosis and the heart.
Aromatherapy is the favorite of many to soothe the frayed nerves (and also the temper) after a hard day’s work.
Acupuncture, acupressure and massage have long been regarded as being helpful to relieve stress and health conditions like niggling back problems, migraines and osteoarthritis.
Reflexology or applying pressure to specific points in the soles of the feet to improve blood circulation, is also a popular stress-buster.
This is my favorite type of massage as it seems that working out the kinks in the feet somehow have a healing affect over the whole body. I once had a migraine headache completely disappear after someone massaged my feet for 20 minutes!
The realms of beauty health and fitness overlap as a welcome sign that people are increasingly becoming aware of their symbiotic relationship and impact on quality of life.
