Beauty health and fitness go hand in hand and each is incomplete without the other. A beautiful woman also has a healthy glow about her, while good health and fitness translates into radiant looks. Diet plays an integral part in maintaining both beauty and fitness.

A proper diet for beauty health and fitness should consist of all groups of foods so that all the 40 nutrients required for good health, enter your system. Thus your daily meals should consist generous amounts of what I call beauty foods -- mainly whole grains, legumes, lean meats/fish/dairy, fruits, vegetables, and some healthy treats -- so that you are not deprived of your quota of nutrients.

Healthy eating is known to prolong life span and keep at bay many diseases. Eating healthily also translates into eating in moderation and eating right to maintain a stable weight. This means that you do not starve yourself, but rather take small meals at frequent intervals.

Maintaining weight doesn’t mean banishing fats and carbohydrates altogether. These are your greatest sources of energy and it doesn’t make sense to sport a lean, thin body without having the energy to climb a few flights of stairs.

Looking like a diva doesn’t entail much hard work. A healthy internal system will impart radiance to your face. You only need to touch-up on that with a regular cleansing, toning and moisturizing routine. This will involve only 10-15 minutes of your time daily.

The correlation between beauty health and fitness extends to your hair too. Strong manes require a robust internal system, devoid of nutritional deficiencies, digestive tract problems, hormonal imbalances and poor circulation. Stress also wrecks considerable havoc on the hair.

Limp, unhealthy hair can be given a new leash of life with fresh, enzyme-rich vegetables like carrots, beet and spinach. Lots of water and vitamin supplements too are explicitly recommended.

Reflexology or applying pressure to specific points in the soles of the feet to improve blood circulation, is also a popular stress-buster.
